about
We decided around 3 years ago to include a very special song into our live set and you guys have been asking us to put it out ever since.
Diamond Head have been one of our biggest inspirations (could you guess???) ever since we discovered them and we tried our best to pay tribute to these absolute legends.

Phenomenal Sabbath-esque riffing with amazing tones on both bass and guitar, insane drumming and powerful vocals make this band a complete sonic titan! Wolf Moon

This album was pretty good. I liked the heavy sounds mixed with the clear, powerful vocals. This album is a slow burn, though. It gets better as it goes and builds to a truley epic finishing track. I will be listening to it again. Gregory

Ruby the Hatchet aren’t breaking the mould with their 70’s style heavy rock. If you’re channeling the best of what your genre has to offer then you’re doing just fine. They are and I seriously hope they come to the U.K. one day with their organ driven riffage.
Their female vocalist is great too. So many great female fronted heavy bands these days. Love it! Crinklechips

Wow, so many influences… is this Metal Prog, or maybe Heavy Blues Rock? Whatever it is it’s incredible, especially the barnstorming title track which is insanely addictive (I need to hear a live Grateful Dead style 1hr improv on this), not to mention the groovalicious goodness of “Avalon!” pf22
