Ruby the Hatchet aren’t breaking the mould with their 70’s style heavy rock. If you’re channeling the best of what your genre has to offer then you’re doing just fine. They are and I seriously hope they come to the U.K. one day with their organ driven riffage.
Their female vocalist is great too. So many great female fronted heavy bands these days. Love it! Crinklechips

exultant riffs and cascading melodic prog synth/organ/keys? Makes me feel like the bloke on the cover of argus by wishbone ash. staring into something terrible and beautiful and emergent. rips too. eldudowski

Wow, so many influences… is this Metal Prog, or maybe Heavy Blues Rock? Whatever it is it’s incredible, especially the barnstorming title track which is insanely addictive (I need to hear a live Grateful Dead style 1hr improv on this), not to mention the groovalicious goodness of “Avalon!” pf22
